A museum you have to see for its wonderful collections and its wonderful building.

Orsay is the place to see if you love the Belle époque (1879-1914).
This period has witnessed huge breakthroughs in industry and art.

Orsay was a railway station which was built to impress visitors of the 1900 Exposition Universelle (world’s fair).
It now hosts the most impressive collection of impressionist paintings.

The museum was renovated in 2011.

Good news
The museum of the Orangerie is now run under the same establishment. This means that your ticket is valid for both museums
